Banjo Master Tony Trischka Wins USA Fellowship and Grant

Every year, United States Artists invites leaders in nearly every artistic discipline to submit names of artists they believe show extraordinary talent and commitment to their craft.

NY Banjo Summit TourMany of the world’s most influential five-string banjo players – all with ties to New York State - will re-unite to perform a “Banjo Summit” in a limited five-concert tour of the East Coast from January 16-20. 2013. The New York Banjo Summit featuring Bela Fleck, Tony Trischka, Bill Keith, Eric Weissberg, Richie Stearns and Noam Pikelny will bour the northeast this January.

Donna The Buffalo Kicks Off Their Fall Tour This Weekend and Travels West

Donna The BuffaloDonna The Buffalo kicks off for their Fall tour this weekend starting with the last festival of the season at Magnolia Fest in Live Oak, Florida! Then the band makes their way to the west coast for the first time in a few years with stops in Mobile, New Orleans, Austin, Albuquerque and Flagstaff before few shows in southern California. Then they head north and link up with David Gans for four shows in the Bay Area after which they make their way to Eugene and Portland and finish up the tour in Seattle before heading back east.

After that they’ve got lots of great shows coming up, including two more camping festivals before this festival season comes to a close, a return to the Boulder Theater for two night to celebrate Thanksgiving weekend, Strings and Sol in Tulum, Mexico in December, and for New Year’s Eve they will be heating up the Midwest with a four-night run! There are lots of stops along this tour that the band has not traveled to in many years, plus they will be armed with their New Album Aquatic Hitchhiker.
