Musicians Against Childhood Cancer July 16-19

Flatt Lonesome MACCThe 30th Annual Musicians Against Childhood Cancer (MACC) Bluegrass Classic will be held at Hoover Y-Park, Columbus, Ohio. The dates for the music festival are July 16 - 19, 2014. Proceeds from this festival will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Since the year 2000, MACC and you have donated $755,690.00 to St. Jude and the Y.M.C.A., helping children around the world. This year will be the 15th Year for Musicians Against Childhood Cancer. Adkins Productions and The Bluegrass Classic with the help of many musicians have founded Musicians Against Childhood Cancer, an annual charitable event to benefit children with life threatening illnesses.

Michael Cleveland and FlamekeeperMichael Cleveland & Flamekeeper are honored to take part in a special day of bluegrass to benefit Randy Griffith, father of Flamekeeper bassist Tyler Griffith, who has been having some health issues. The event will take place on March 22nd and begins at 12noon. Several bands will perform throughout the day and Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper will perform at 5:00pm ET. Admission is $10 at the door.

Nathan Livers Hair CutCharlestown, IN -- Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper are pleased to announce they have exceeded their goal of 5000 Facebook Fans as a result of their "Locks For Likes" contest. The band launched the contest in 2013 with the promise of a special Flamekeeper Prize Package to one lucky winner, and a haircut for Flamekeeper mandolin player, Nathan Livers, who would donate his hair to Locks of Love, a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.
