Cumberland River and More Perform for Ronald McDonald House Benefit

Cumberland River Scottown, OH (July 30, 2013) -- Cumberland River is proud to announce they will perform at the AU2 Rally in the Valley on Saturday, August 24 supporting the Huntington, West Virginia chapter of the Ronald McDonald House. The event will be held at the home of the Appalachian Uprising festival on Eden Valley Farm in Scottown, Ohio.

Gary Robinson, Jr. Joins Cumberland River Bluegrass Music Band

Gary Robinson, Jr.Harlan, KY -- Cumberland River is proud to announce a new band member, multi-instrumentalist Gary Robinson Jr. who joins the group on Lead Guitar. Gary’s incredible talents certainly add to the dynamic sound of this now 6-piece band that includes the talents of: James Dean (Banjo, lead & harmony vocals), Joey Jones (Bass), Dustin Middleton (Mandolin, Lead & Harmony Vocals), Jamie Stewart (Dobro), and Gary’s brother in-law, Brad Gulley (Guitar, Lead & Harmony Vocals).

This hot new group continues to impress audiences with several strong lead vocalists including the talents of Dustin Middleton who provides lead vocals on his original song "Harlan Man" that debuted this month on Bluegrass Music Profiles Top 30 Hot Singles Chart. James Dean provides lead on his original song and the band's first single, "Cold & Withered Heart" along with a new video that is currently the #1 bluegrass video on Yallwire.com. Both songs appear on the group's new album The Live We Live on Rural Rhythm Records.
