American Legion Bluegrass Series Ends season with Legendary Larry Sparks

Larry SparksInternational Bluegrass Music Association's (IBMA), two time Male Vocalist of the Year, Larry Sparks and his band will end the winter Bluegrass series for 2012 at the American Legion in Hughesville, MD on Sunday March 11, 2012. Larry Sparks' music has become known to audiences beyond the hardest of the Bluegrass Music hard-core. It has become clear that within Bluegrass music there are only a small handful of major stylists. Larry Sparks is one of the few who has created a style while remaining true to the best traditions of bluegrass.

Larry Sparks and The Lonesome Ramblers Concert Supports Cheerleaders

Larry SparksJackson, KY -- A Bluegrass and Gospel concert to be held in Jackson, KY is sponsored by and willbe benefitting the LBJ Elementary School Cheerleaders. The concert will be held at LBJ Elementary School, Sunday November 20, 2011 at 2:00pm. Tickets are $15.00 all children age 12 and under are admitted to the concert for free. The cheerleaders will also have a concession stand and will be cooking up soup beans and cornbread among many other items. LBJ School is located on Jett Drive just off of Highway 15 in Jackson, KY. The concert will feature Larry Sparks and his band The Lonesome Ramblers. Also appearing will be the Morehead State University Mountain Music Ambassadors under the direction of Raymond McClain.

Larry Sparks Exhibit and Concert this Saturday at ACMA Museum in Bristol

Larry SparksBristol, TN/VA -- Larry Sparks and the Lonesome Ramblers will be in Bristol, Virginia this Saturday, October 15th for Larry Sparks Day at the Appalachian Cultural Music Association (ACMA)'s Mountain Music Museum and Pickin Porch at the Bristol Mall. "We are very proud to be unveiling the Larry Sparks Exhibit at the Mountain Music Museum this Saturday" states John Necessary the Appalachian Cultural Music Association's president. "Larry is a legend in bluegrass music and is most deserving of this exhibit in our museum".
