Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival 2017 Lineup Announced

Gray FoxOak Hill, NY -- While deep snows have been falling all over upstate New York, plans are already set for this summer's world famous Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival held each year in the Catskill Mountains at Oak Hill, New York. This event really is a Who's Who of Bluegrass Music and people come from all over the country and from other countries to experience this gathering of music, learning, family & friends. Many personal reunions for artists, fans and pickers happen annually at this historic event. This year's four-day event takes place July 13 through 16, 2017.

Dailey & Vincent Landfest In The Mountains Sept 14-16

Dailey & VincentHiawassee, GA -- Award-winning super duo Dailey & Vincent are pulling out all the stops in 2017. They continue this prodigious trend with the relocation of their 5th annual music festival, Dailey & Vincent LandFest, presented by Springer Mountain Farms. As part of their Diamond Celebration, their 3-day festival bringing the very best in American music, will move from its prior Denton, North Carolina location to the heart of the Georgia Mountains in scenic, Hiawassee, Georgia – this fall. The event has appropriately extended it’s name to; Dailey & Vincent LandFest In The Mountains, and will be held September 14-16, 2017 at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds. Ticket packages range from $35.00 - $110.00 with general admission and/or reserved seating available. Fans can also stay on-site via tent or RV in one of the 189 campsites offering full hook ups and amenities.

Blistered FingersLitchfield, ME -- Blistered Fingers Bluegrass Festival location is at the Litchfield Fairgrounds (30 Plains Road, Litchfield, Maine). The festival grounds have a big stage that was built in 2010, 18 women’s and 18 men’s indoor bathroom facilities, four free hot showers and numerous water hookups throughout the grounds, electrical hookups. The festival location has that ‘Welcome Home’ Country atmosphere. Everyone who attends loves our hard grounds. We also have a lot of Field picking through the whole time of the festival.

Stringbean Festival Celebrates 20th Anniversary This Weekend

Celebrating its 20th year, the festival honors Jackson County native and beloved Grand Ole Opry star David ‘Stringbean’ Akemon. His unique stage attire, traditional claw hammer banjo style, and entertaining stage banter endeared him to fans around the world. ’The Kentucky Wonder’ was best known for his musical comedic performances on the hallowed stage of the Grand Ole Opry beginning in the 1940’s and on the television series “Hee Haw” until his tragic death in 1973.

(“Susie’s Cause”) is thrilled to present rising star singer-songwriter Sarah Jarosz and old-time bluegrass stalwarts Seldom Scene at its Bluegrass-Folk Festival on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Oregon Ridge Park in Cockeysville, Maryland. The legendary bluegrass superstar set to headline this second annual event will be announced on May 30. The Stray Birds, Mipso, Tim and Savannah Finch with the Eastman String Band, and the Ken and Brad Kolodner Quartet round out the bill of this year’s festival, all proceeds of which will benefit Susie’s Cause, the Baltimore-based national nonprofit foundation dedicated to colon cancer prevention, treatment, and support services.
