‘Song of the Mountains’ Viewing Party with Kaitlyn Baker & Reagan Boggs

Reagan Boggs, Tim White, Kaitlyn BakerWaynesville, NC -- Country singers Kaitlyn Baker and Reagan Boggs will mingle with fans to raise money for a worthy cause in Waynesville, North Carolina, on Sunday, November 22. Baker and Boggs, both of whom are originally from Pound, Virginia, taped the nationally syndicated public television concert series “Song of the Mountains” last year. Their episode will premiere on the UNC-TV network throughout North Carolina on Sunday, November 22, at 6:00 p.m. It will air on PBS affiliates nationwide early in 2016.

Trey HensleyHiltons, VA -- Clinch Mountain Music Fest is gearing up for its 10th annual celebration of mountain music in Scott County, Virginia, on Saturday, June 20th, 2015. Festivities this year will begin in Gate City, Virginia, and end at the Carter Family Fold in Hiltons. All crafts and outside vendors will be set up in Gate City. Gate City’s festivities will close by 5:30 to allow everyone time to get to the closing concert at the Fold. The goal of Clinch Mountain Music Fest is to preserve and perpetuate the heritage of the Appalachian region through its’ music.

Boggs & Baker Two Girls from Pound to Perform on Song of the Mountains

Reagan Boggs and Kaitlyn BakerMarion, VA -- Two wonderfully talented ladies from the little town of Pound, Virginia will be in concert on Saturday, June 7th at the Lincoln Theatre in Marion, Virginia for Song of the Mountains. Reagan Boggs will perform with her band as will Kaitlyn Baker and her fine group. “I think it is amazing that both these young ladies are so talented and both are from the same little town of Pound, Virginia in the coalfields of Southwestern Virginia”, says Tim White the host and executive coordinator of the award winning nationally televised concert series. “Both of these ladies have recently signed recording contracts with record labels and we are so glad to have them on Song of the Mountains on the same night”, says White.
