Dave Adkins Debuts at #1 on Billboard Top Bluegrass Albums Chart

Willis, VA -- Mountain Fever Records is very proud to announce the self-titled new album by Dave Adkins made his debut at #1 on Billboard’s Top Bluegrass Albums Chart. The album was released February 26 and was produced by Adkins who also contributed six original songs to his groundbreaking new project. Adkins carefully chose each track for this new album. From the clever “Fool-o-sophy” co-written by Larry Cordle and Chris Stapleton to the unforgettable and beautiful “Angel Song” co-written by Corey Lee Barker and Chris Laffey, he once again proves he is a powerhouse of vocal talent.

By Any Other Name, released October 30th, is the twelfth full-length release from Nothin' Fancy but their debut project for Mountain Fever Records. Although Nothin' Fancy has been performing professionally since 1994, this make's the band's first ever appearance on the Billboard Top 10—a chart ranked by sales data as compiled by Nielsen Music.

Twilight Years are Highlight Years -- Ronnie Reno Scores Top-Ten at Billboard

Lessons Learned (his first release in over a decade and his debut album with Rural Rhythm Records) sits at #10 on the Billboard Bluegrass chart this week. This is not Reno's only appearance in this week's top ten. He also lent his talent to two additional albums, Country Grass by ?Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road and Brotherhood by the Gibson Brothers.

“Country Grass” Debuts at #6 on Billboard Bluegrass Chart

In addition, their single, "Runnin' Water," has debuted on Bluegrass Unlimited's National Survey at #25. For Country Grass the bluegrass chart-toppers have teamed with some of the biggest country artists of all-time, including Crystal Gayle, Lee Greenwood, Jim Ed Brown, Lynn Anderson, The Kentucky Headhunters, T.G. Sheppard, Eddy Raven, and John Conlee, to give country classics a new, unique, bluegrass twist. In addition, joining the impressive line-up is country singers Kelly Lang and Jesse Keith Whitley, along with bluegrass favorites Marty Raybon and Ronnie Reno.

Darin & Brooke's "Snapshots" Debuts in Billboard Top 10

SnapshotsNashville, TN -- In spite of the worst snow and ice storm the southern states have seen in decades, Darin and Brooke Aldridge have debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard Bluegrass Albums Chart with their sixth new release, Snapshots. A flurry of promotional activity had been planned for release week, but instead a flurry of ice and snow found the Aldridge's and their band stranded somewhere between Nashville and Asheville on I-40 when the storm hit. They were forced to cancel a number of appearances and events, including the world renowned Station Inn and WSM Radio.

Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper Celebrate #1 with "Fiddlin' Joe"

On Down the LineCharlestown, IN -- 9-Time IBMA Fiddle Player of the Year Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper are proud to announce "Fiddlin' Joe," the first single from their Compass Records release, On Down the Line, has reached #1 on the National Bluegrass Survey's Top 30 Songs chart for March. "Fiddlin' Joe" was written specifically for the band by Mark "Brink" Brinkman, a 2014 nominee for IBMA's Songwriter of the Year award. 'Breaking Grass' Hits #4 on Billboard Bluegrass Chart

 Just As StrongWillis, VA -- Mississippi's popular and well seasoned bluegrass band, Breaking Grass, hit #4 today on the Billboard Bluegrass Album Chart with their new Mountain Fever Records album, Just As Strong. The album hit #7 on the Heetseekers chart. The album released August 5th and showcased the release of the first single, "Raining in Virginia," written by guitarist Cody Farrar.
