Larry Cordle and Lonesome Standard Time at Old Rock School March 9th

Pud Marcum's Hangin'Larry Cordle is one of Bluegrass Music's most unique talents. He has written so many great songs, like "Murder On Music Row," and his voice is as pure as molasses on biscuits. (I guess that depends solely on the molasses one uses, huh?) Larry will be performing at the Old Rock School this March 9, 2012 in Valdese, North Carolina.

As if that were not an elite task in itself, he then had to narrow down the list of artists to an appropriate number for just one CD.

Larry CordleNashville, TN – One of Nashville's most revered singer/songwriters, Larry Cordle, whose songs have been recorded by the likes of Garth Brooks, George Strait, and Allison Krauss, to name just a few, and career as an artist has garnered him numerous awards, is now being honored by the university he attended before his successes in music. In 1975, Cordle, a Kentucky native, graduated from Morehead State University with a B.A. in Accounting, and on October 21st, he will be among those inducted this year into the college's Alumni Hall of Fame.

Grammy Winning Songwriters and Producers to Support the SADS Foundation

SADS FoundationNashville, TN -- Renowned Nashville-based songwriters/producers Cordle, Jackson & Salley (also known as Larry Cordle, Carl Jackson, and Jerry Salley) will band together on August 18, 2011, to host a benefit concert on behalf of the Fore A Good Kaas Foundation to support the SADS Foundation. The concert is dedicated to the memory of Rob Kaas, a professional golfer who died prematurely at the age of 28 due to SADS – Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndrome. All funds raised from this benefit concert will be donated to the SADS Foundation.
