RockyGrass 2014 tentsLyons, CO -- This year marked the first RockyGrass Bluegrass Festival since the massive flood that devastated the surrounding areas of Lyons, CO last year including the Planet Bluegrass Ranch where the annual event takes place. After an incredible restoration effort led by the Planet Bluegrass staff, the show went on as scheduled without missing a beat. We had the honor of being one of this year's sponsors and had a great time as we always do there, thanks to all who came out to see us at our booth!

Planet Bluegrass Turns Green with Yondersod

Planet Bluegrass StageLyons, CO -- Last December Yonder Mtn String Band threw down an epic evening at the Boulder Theater with special guests Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas, and many others. 100% of the proceeds from that show were donated to our flood recovery here in Lyons. A week ago that generosity came alive in the form of "Yondersod" -- the 7 acres of lush green that now blankets the Planet Bluegrass Ranch. This arrival of green was an emotional transformation that helped us envision, even more clearly, the return of Festivarians and tarps to the Ranch this summer after the 500-year flood that devastated Lyons last September.
