“PBS Americana Music Weekend” November 22/23, 2014 Dates Set

Americana Music AssociationNashville, TN -- Premieres of two Americana music specials, the performance-filled documentary “NASHVILLE 2.0: The Rise of Americana” and “ACL Presents: Americana Music Festival 2013,” will anchor the “PBS Americana Music Weekend,” Friday and Saturday, November 22 and 23, 2013.

Bluegrass Underground Episodes Begin Airing on PBS This Week

Alison Brown and Michael Doucet(Nashville, TN) October 23, 2013 - Cajun supergroup BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet and GRAMMY-winning banjoist Alison Brown will be featured on their own respective episodes of PBS’ music adventure series Bluegrass Underground nationwide starting this week. Back in March, both groups performed live at Bluegrass Underground, 333-feet underground in the Volcano Room of the Cumberland Caverns in McMinnville, TN. Each performance of that live show, which that day also included artists Leon Russell and Ben Sollee, was taped as an episode for PBS broadcast this October, as well as broadcast Saturday nights on the Legend 650 WSM Radio.

Song of the Mountains to Headline The Roys
