Jim and Valerie Gabehart Release Latest Album

Jim & Valerie GabehartHamlin, WV -- Jim & Valerie Gabehart are proud to announce the release of their latest project, I Was Raised in a Railroad Town. Recorded at Eagle Canyon Music in Nashville, the album was produced and engineered by Steve Thomas and features Valerie Gabehart on guitar and lead vocals, Jim Gabehart on banjo and vocals, Brandon Shuping on mandolin and vocals, and John "Buckwheat" Green on bass and vocals. Guests Steve Thomas and Randy Kohrs join in on fiddle and resophonic guitar. The album's title cut hit the airwaves in October.

Released to reporting radio stations, the single features Lead vocal and Guitar-Valerie Gabehart; Harmony vocal and Banjo-Jim Gabehart; Mandolin-Brandon Shuping; Harmony vocal and Bass-John "Buckwheat" Green; and Fiddle-Steve Thomas. Jim & Valerie Gabehart Launch Kickstarter Campaign

Jim & Valerie Gabehart BandJim & Valerie Gabehart are excited to announce plans for a new recording project, tentatively titled “Loving Life and Each Other”. The couple will be recording at Steve Thomas’ Gain Train Studios in Nashville, along with group members Brandon Shuping and John “Buckwheat” Green. Tracking will begin in May, and Jim & Valerie are shooting for a late summer-early fall release. In conjunction with the recording project, a Kickstarter campaign has been launched and those interested in supporting Jim & Valerie may view a brief video and read more about their plans at
