Newton & Thomas Release Single “Great American Heroes”

Newton & ThomasNashville, TN -- Newton & Thomas are proud to announce the new single release, “Great American Heroes” that recently made its radio debut on Nashville’s WSM Radio 650 AM Coffee, Country and Cody show. This inspirational and patriotic new tune was written by the award-winning songwriter, Mark “Brink” Brinkman. All proceeds from the sale of the song will benefit the American Security Council Foundation - a non-profit organization promoting the Strategy of Peace Through Strength.

The organization provides financial assistance to families of children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses and was founded in honor of Charlotte Jennie Reynolds (July 9, 2005 - Jan. 7, 2010).

Kruger Brothers to Perform on Song of the Mountains

Kruger BrothersMarion, VA- The Kruger Brothers will headline the Song of the Mountains public television taping at the Lincoln Theatre in Marion, VA on Saturday, March 2nd. Originally from Switzerland, brothers Uwe and Jens Kruger began play­ing North American folk music at an early age and were particularly inspired by recordings of Doc Watson, Flatt and Scruggs, Bill Monroe, and other progenitors of country, bluegrass and folk music. Their first public performances were as a duo, busking on the streets of cities throughout eastern and western Europe.
