Music City Roots Partners with MerleFest

Yesterday afternoon Greensky Bluegrass and Della Mae with special guest Peter Rowan took the stage at Sunset Plaza in Mountain Village for the 4th Annual FirstGrass show. This free show begins the official music of the their gathering of Festivarian Nation in Telluride.

Della MaeAmerican Voices and the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs are pleased to announce the lineup for the 2012-13 season of the American Music Abroad program. This season, American Music Abroad received nearly 300 applications from musical ensembles in over 40 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The all female group of artists, Della Mae, was selected to represent the bluegrass music genre.
