Wildfire to Showcase at IBMA with New Member Chris Davis

Chris DavisThe Bluegrass Music group, Wildfire commented this month "master musician Chris Davis has been a friend for many years. Now, we are honored to call him a band mate!" Chris has joined the band and is expected to be peforming with the group at the World of Bluegrass artist showcases later this year. Wildfire has been selected for the showcase program. Wildfire is a bluegrass band with smokin' hot instrumentals and soul meltin' vocals. Chris will certainly contribute with his solid artistry.

Junior Sisk and Ramblers Choice New Band Member, Chris Davis

Chris DavisJunior Sisk and Ramblers Choice welcome Chris Davis to the group. Chris was born in Xenia, Ohio on October 9, 1979 to Danny Lee and Susie Davis. He was born into a family of musicians. His Grandfather Elzie Davis played the fiddle, his Father Danny Lee Davis plays the banjo and sings and traveled with Ralph Stanley playing bass and singing harmony. His brother Wes Davis played the guitar and sang as well. The Davis's created the "Davis Brothers Band" and began playing bluegrass music as a family.

Junior Sisk & Ramblers ChoiceJunior Sisk and Ramblers Choice announce their latest Rebel Records album titled The Heart of a Song will be available late Summer 2011. The new project will feature the guest vocals of Rhonda Vincent on the duet number "The Sound of Your Name". The album will also feature the songwriting talents of Tom T. and Ms. Dixie Hall. The new release comes on the heels of the chart topping success of their last album Heartaches and Dreams which produced a number #1 song in "Train Without a Track" and remained the top album on the Bluegrass Unlimited Charts for four months, charting for over 10 months.
