BCM Achieves NETTA "Best of Show" Two Years Running

BCM AwardsBristol, VA/TN -- The Birthplace of Country Music (BCM) is proud to announce the organization has achieved "Best of Show," Northeast Tennessee Tourism Association's (NETTA) highest honor, for the Grand Opening of the Birthplace of Country Music Museum (BCMM). BCM, parent organization of BCMM and the annual Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion music festival, also took home three (3) Pinnacle Awards and a Merit Award at NETTA's annual awards luncheon held at the Foundation Events Facility in Historic Downtown Bristol on Thursday. This is the second "Best of Show" honor for BCM, having won last year for Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion.

Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion Gets Best of Show

 Carey Kidd (BCM), Nick Corrigan, Charlene Baker (BCM), Eric Blevins (BRRR), Leah Ross, Justin Glanville, and Destiny SmithJohnson City, TN -- Birthplace of Country Music's Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion festival took home a number of Pinnacle Awards, including "Best of Show", from Northeast Tennessee Tourism Association (NETTA) at their annual awards luncheon on Wednesday. This latest recognition comes after the festival received the cities of Bristol Mayors' Award of Distinction in April and several Southeast Festival & Events Association Kaleidoscope Awards, including "Best Festival", in February. The Pinnacle awards were sponsored by Bristol Motor Speedway and held at the Carnegie Hotel in Johnson City, Tennessee.

Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion is just weeks away. This year Bristol Rhythm & Roots has added stages, bringing the total up to 24. With more than 160 live acts, you can look forward to seeing music at the new Machiavelli's Outdoor Tent, located just across the street from the eatery. CityMug @CityMac, Shelbee's Vintage Cafe and The Cradle Stage inside the former Ruth King Antiques building are new venues for music fans to gather and enjoy the music.
