Jeff Brown and Still LonesomeOn Saturday, February 4th, 2017, at 7:30 p.m. the Carter Family Fold in Hiltons, Virginia, will present a concert of bluegrass music by Jeff Brown and Still Lonesome. Jeff Brown and Still Lonesome consist of Jeff Brown, Austin Brown, Kyle Murphy, Nick Goad and Mitch Walker. Jeff Brown is a name that is very well known to musicians on today's bluegrass circuit, and has been steadily gaining in popularity with fans, DJ'S and promoters alike. He began playing at the very young age of nine, and hasn't slowed down since. He and his brother formed the Richlands Bluegrass Boys, where he played alongside Blue Highway's Wayne Taylor.

A Distant HorizonThe new project from Jeff Brown & Still Lonesome, A Distant Horizon was released August 26, 2016 on Union House Records to rave reviews! Jeff and the boys along with special guest and producer Wayne Taylor were at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum in Bristol VA with a packed house for a live broadcast and live stream with Radio Bristol to celebrate the CD release.

A Distant HorizonUnion House Records is pleased to announce the release of the new single, "A Better Game", from Jeff Brown and Still Lonesome. The entire project, entitled A Distant Horizon, will be available on Friday, August 26, 2016. Jeff states, "We are very excited about this project. Having Wayne Taylor from Blue Highway as the producer seemed to be a perfect fit. Recording this project was a great experience from start to finish and sure was a lot of fun. We feel that with the variety of songs there is something that everyone will enjoy on this CD".\

Jeffrey was commissioned as an honorary Kentucky Colonel by Governor Steven L. Beshear. The Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels does not appoint or commission Kentucky Colonels; that can only be done by the sitting Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The name “Kentucky Colonel” has become synonymous with strength of character, leadership and dedication to the welfare of others.

Jeff Brown and Still LonesomeAs a member of Larry Sparks and the Lonesome Ramblers, Jeff Brown has performed on many famous stages such as the Grand Ole Opry, Austin City Limits, the Ryman Auditorium, and Song of the Mountains – just to name a few. Jeff also toured with the Charlie Sizemore Band and has done fill in duties with Blue Highway, Rhonda Vincent, Dr. Ralph Stanley, and many more. The Still Lonesome Band is made up of Austin Brown, Noah Brown, Meredith Goins, Josh Blankenship, and Josh Underwood. Saturday, January 25th, 2014, at 7:30 p.m. the Carter Family Fold in Hiltons, Virginia, will present a concert by Jeff Brown and Still Lonesome. Admission to the concert is $8 for adults, $1 for children 6 to11, under age 6 free.
