Throughout the year, the group entertained thousands of fans across the United States and France.

The 12th annual ROMP Festival, the bluegrass and Americana music festival known for its stellar line-ups, friendly camping atmosphere, and easy access to artists, takes place June 24-27, 2015 in Owensboro, Kentucky.

Solivan and his group won the IBMA Instrumental Band Award last year, so that’s pretty cool. Molasses Creek is coming over from Ocracoke to join us on Friday, and Hickory Project will be here for the whole weekend, so there’s going to be a little something different each day for our audience,” said Pete Pappalardo, the event coordinator.

This festival covers all the domains of roots music so there is always something for everyone.

In addition to Artist and Album of the Year honors (for their 2014 album Cold Spell), the band took home Song of the Year for “Cold Spell,” Musician, Songwriter and Bluegrass Vocalist of the Year for Solivan, and Bluegrass Recording and Bluegrass Duo/Group for the band.

MerleFest Lineup Features IBMA Award-Winning Artists

MerleFest, a four-day event that is an annual homecoming of musicians and music fans, will once again take place on the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, North Carolina.
