The Roys Featured in PBS' "Jubilee" Series This Week

The RoysNashville, TN -- Award-winning Bluegrass brother/sister duo The Roys are featured in the PBS Jubilee series airing nationwide this week. Kentucky Educational Television (KET) will broadcast the program Tuesday, July 23 at 8 p.m. CDT. The popular series, produced by KET, features an eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary Bluegrass, Blues, American and Celtic Folk, Southern and African-American Gospel, Rock and Roll and other diverse forms of "Roots" music.

The Roys Runaway Train Building Steam with Video Debut

The RoysNashville, TN -- The Roys' Gypsy Runaway Train project continues to build steam as the duo's new video made its world premiere on ZUUS Country’s Americana Program, Monday. The clip will rebroadcast on Thursday, June 20 at 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. CDT and on Sunday, June 23 at 7 p.m. CDT. Fans can view the "Gypsy Runaway Train" video below.

Daniel Patrick18-year old Daniel Patrick will join the award-winning The Roys on stage for the first time in Auburn, AL at the University Station Bluegrass Festival (May 30-31). Starting out his music career at age three, Daniel Patrick has been around the music all his life. Blessed with a wonderful family he has played professionally as “The Daniel Patrick and Family” Bluegrass and Gospel band for 11 years. Now at the age of 18, Daniel is looking to take a bigger step in his career.

George Jones Nashville, TN -- Country Music Hall of Famer, Grand Ole Opry member, and Kennedy Center Honoree George Glenn Jones died Friday, April 26, 2013 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He was hospitalized April 18 with fever and irregular blood pressure.
