The Infamous Stringdusters Added To Jam In The Trees

The Infamous StringdustersAsheville, NC -- The 2nd Annual Jam In The Trees is thrilled to announce the addition of The Infamous Stringdusters to the lineup which includes some incredible acts that have already been annonced: Acoustic Syndicate, Peter Rowan, Larry Keel, Tim O'Brien, Jim Lauderdale, Underhill Rose, and Ken Tizzard. The 2017 event takes place Friday and Saturday, August 25-26th, 2017 at Pisgah Brewing Company in Black Mountain, NC. More artists are being added as the event approaches.

As first revealed on Rolling Stone Country, the new album Laws of Gravity marks a return to form for the Grammy-nominated acoustic five-piece, whose widely acclaimed 2016 album Ladies & Gentlemen featured all female singers (like Joss Stone, Lee Ann Womack, Nicki Bluhm, etc). Laws of Gravity is all new original Dusters music--perhaps the most "Infamous" record they've done in their decade together.

For their sixth studio album, Ladies & Gentlemen, the band invited a dozen of their favorite female singers to join them. The list of featured guests includes some of the most dynamic and innovative artists from across the roots music, Americana and country worlds: Nicki Bluhm, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Jennifer Hartswick, Sarah Jarosz, Claire Lynch, Aoife O’Donovan, Joan Osborne, Joss Stone, Sara Watkins, Abigail Washburn, Lee Ann Womack and Celia Woodsmith. Each artist guested on a different original song or tune written by the members of the band specifically for this project.

Old Settler's Music Festival Announces 2015 Schedule

Old Settler's Music FestivalAustin, TX -- The Old Settler’s Music Festival, now in its 28th year, has finalized another outstanding schedule of roots, bluegrass and Americana artists for the four-day event. The festival takes place Thursday, April 16 through Sunday, April 19, at the Salt Lick Barbecue Pavilion and Camp Ben McCulloch, in the Texas hill country south of Austin on FM 1826. A new main stage, located on MASS MoCA's expansive and grassy "Joe's Field", has been added to this year's festival. A full slate of afternoon and evening performances-as well as late-night, hoedown-style barn dances-is scheduled for the weekend of September 20-22, 2013.

The Infamous StringdustersThe Infamous Stringdusters have announced their 2013 Ski Tour – a run of shows that brings the band, and their fans, to the Rocky Mountains’ best U.S. ski towns this winter. The itinerary - which includes stops in Vail, Colorado, Park City, Utah, and Jackson, Wyoming, among others - promises a few days off to hit the slopes. Along for the ride are partners POW (Protect Our Winters), Icelantic Skis, Oskar Blues Brewery, and Mountain Khaki, who will host special events and giveaways along the tour. Inspired by the energy of Charlottesville and with their good friend Tom Daly they looked to capture the spirit of Charlottesville while showcasing an amazing song by Jeremy Garrett and Jon Weisberger.
