Dave Adkins' Tops Charts with "Pike County Jail"

Dave AdkinsNashville, TN -- Dave Adkins has not only been gaining attention for his powerful live performances and one of a kind lead vocals, but he's also acheiving great chart success with numerous tracks from his Mountain Fever Records' album, Nothing To Lose. "Pike County Jail" was the biggest chart mover on this month’s Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine Top 30 Song chart climbing to #19 from its debut at #30 last month. The album moved up on the magazine’s Top 15 Album chart to #12 from its debut at #15 last month.

Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road Score #1 Single

That's KentuckyNashville, TN -- Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road have reason to celebrate as their latest single "That's Kentucky," a song penned by Tom T. and Dixie Hall along with Troy Engle, tops the Bluegrass Unlimited national single charts for July 2014. This marks the second time that Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road have reached the top spot on the national chart, their first being "A Light in the Window Again" which topped the chart in September of 2012.

Balsam Range's FIVE Debuts at #4 on Billboard Charts

FiveNashville, TN -- Current title holders for IBMA Album of the Year, Balsam Range's fifth studio album Five debuted at number four on Billboard's Bluegrass Album chart this week. Five was released on June 17th and has only been available for a little over a week.

Dolly Parton Scores with "Blue Smoke"

With the release of her 42nd studio album, Blue Smoke, Parton scores her highest charting solo album ever. Parton, amazingly, has only visited the top 10 of the Billboard 200 once: with the collaborative set "Trio," with Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt. It peaked at No. 6 on May 2, 1987, after earlier debuting at No. 38 on March 28, 1987.

Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road Unveil New Video

That's KentuckyLorraine Jordan & Carolina Road have just released a new video for their #1 hit, "That's Kentucky." The song was penned by Tom T. Hall, Dixie Hall, and Troy Engle, and spent 5-weeks consecutively and two months at #1 on the Bluegrass Today charts! The song comes off of their latest self-titled album released by Pinecastle Records. The song is traditional bluegrass, but has a very fresh approach!

Dolly Parton Scores Double #1 in Australia with Blue Smoke

Blue SmokeNashville, TN -- Dolly Parton, the most honored female country performer of all time, has topped the New Zealand all-genre album chart with the release of her latest album Blue Smoke. In addition, the musical masterpiece topped the Australian Country album chart for four consecutive weeks and hit #7 on the overall all genre album chart. The Spinney Brothers Bluegrass Seeing Top Chart Action

No BordersThe Spinney Brothers latest CD, No Borders, is experiencing quite a bit of chart success as of late. This month, it moves from the #10 spot to #6 on the Bluegrass Unlimited National Bluegrass Survey's Top 15 Bluegrass Albums! And in October, it was #1 on Canada's Galaxie Bluegrass Chart. The album's first single, "Grandpa's Way Of Life" moves up to #5 on the Top 30 Songs Chart while "I Want My Dog Back", a fan favorite, has made its debut this month at #26. The Spinney Brothers are especially excited about their newest single, "I Wish That I Could Have Met Carter," written by Dixie Hall.
