Leftover Salmon’s Fall Tour 2012 has Started its Run

Leftover Salmon Fall Tour 2012Leftover Salmon kicked off the start of their Fall Tour at Mr. Smalls in Pittsburgh, PA October 2nd with their Special Guest Liz Berlin of Rusted Root. After that they’ve got lots of great shows coming up, including two more camping festivals before this festival season comes to a close, a return to the Boulder Theater for two night to celebrate Thanksgiving weekend, Strings and Sol in Tulum, Mexico in December, and for New Year’s Eve they will be heating up the Midwest with a four-night run! There are lots of stops along this tour that the band has not traveled to in many years, plus they will be armed with their New Album Aquatic Hitchhiker.

Aquatic HitchhikerOn May 13th, Leftover Salmon will take over Santa Fe Drive in the heart of Denver's Arts District for a free block party and performance presented by 97.3 KBCO celebrating the long-awaited release of 'Aquatic Hitchhiker' (5.22, LoS), the band's first album in eight years. Sponsored by Breckenridge Brewery and Renegade Brewery, the event is also a benefit for the non-profit organization Conscious Alliance, which raises money for underprivileged communities www.ConsciousAlliance.org

Leftover Salmon Returns After 8-Year Hiatus

Aquatic HitchhikerAfter a recording hiatus, Colorado slam-grass pioneers, Leftover Salmon, return with their new album Aquatic Hitchhiker (May 22, LoS Records.) This is the band's first album in eight years and the first to debut all original compositions. "One of the magical things about Leftover Salmon is there's a lot of symbiosis," says founding member Vince Herman. "It's been really exciting to get back to the studio and bounce off of each other's ideas."
