The legendary Southern Rock group performed on the Chevrolet Riverfront Stage, awing fans as they ripped through many of their hit songs before introducing their surprise guest, former CMA Entertainer of the Year, Ricky Skaggs.

CMA Foundation Donates $50,000 for Children Summer Music Camps

CMA Foundation Logo Nashville, TN -- The CMA Foundation is donating $50,000 to benefit summer music education programs for 170 low-income students at the W.O. Smith Nashville Community Music School. The donation is part of CMA's Keep the Music Playing initiative, which supports music education on behalf of the hundreds of artists who perform during CMA Music Festival for free.

Marty Stuart and the SuperlativesMarty Stuart's Late Night Jam has become recognized as the kick off event of the CMA Music Festival and in 2012, Marty will celebrate the jam session's 11th year. Marty started the event as way to welcome fans to country music's biggest festival, but the jam has also raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for MusiCares, which provides assistance for music people in times of need.
