Becky Buller Headlines 2016 WoodSongs Dalton Concert Series

Becky BullerThe WoodSongs Dalton Coffee House Concert series will be percolating again in 2016. The return of the concert series will feature national and regional Americana music, providing the North Georgia area with family friendly music while benefiting Providence Ministries. The series will consist of three concerts scheduled for the last Saturday of January, February, and March 2016. The first concert will feature the award winning singer/songwriter, fiddler, clawhammer banjo picking Becky Buller with the Becky Buller Band and the highly acclaimed guitar virtuoso Hiroya Tsukamoto on Saturday January 30, 2016.

The first concert is scheduled for Saturday January 31, 2015. Appearing will be the award-winning Becky Buller, an acoustic bluegrass Americana singer songwriter and Butch Ross, talented multi-instrumentalist and singer.

The RigneysThe Dalton WoodSongs Coffee House Concert will kick off the 2014 series on January 25th with the Rigneys a family bluegrass band. Based near Nasvhille, TN, this established band plays over 70 shows annually entertaining fans in a variety of venues from Bluegrass Underground to Festivals, TV shows, a host of other acoustic music venues, and private parties. Opening for the Rigneys will be Chattanooga's own Lon Eldridge.

The 7 pm concert will be held at the historic Dalton Freight Depot at 305 S. Depot Street in downtown Dalton, Georgia. Donna will perform the musical narrative from her album titled "All the way to Bethlehem". The first concert is scheduled for Saturday January 22nd, 2014. This regionally acclaimed concert series features emerging and established performers and will be held in the intimate and eclectic setting of the historic Dalton Freight Depot located at 305 S. Depot Street in down town Dalton Georgia. The concert series is sponsored in part by the Downtown Dalton Development Authority and the Dalton Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Woodsongs Coffeehouse Concert Series to Host Nu-Blu Bluegrass Band

Nu-BluDalton, GA -- The Woodsongs Coffeehouse - Dalton Freight Depot will host on Saturday March 30th, an evening of acoustic music featuring Nu-Blu from Siler City, North Carolina. Also, by popular demand, Atlanta songwriter Kathy Reed will return to the Freight Depot to open the show.

An Evening with Carrie HasslerDalton, GA -- The Woodsongs Coffeehouse Dalton Chapter announces the return of their annual winter concert series to raise awareness and proceeds to complete construction of a new shelter by Providence Ministries. The facility at 613 Oxford Street in Dalton, Georgia will provide shelter for 60 men when construction is completed . An estimated $75,000 to $100,000 is needed to complete construction of the shelter. The highly acclaimed concert series features emerging and established performers of Americana, Country, and Bluegrass music. The concerts will be held in the intimate and eclectic setting of the historic Dalton Freight Depot located at 305 S. Depot Street in downtown Woodsongs Dalton Chapter Dalton Georgia. Seating is limited and performances typically sellout.

John Cowan Concert to Benefit Miracle League of Whitfield County

John CowanDalton, GA -- On Saturday June 9th Bluegrass Bands Helping Hands will present “An evening with the John Cowan Band” to benefit The Miracle League of Whitfield County. One of the true musical innovators, John Cowan rose to fame when he became the lead singer for New Grass Revival and introduced a new generation of music fans to an explosive, experimental brand of Bluegrass Music -- "Newgrass". The concert will be held at 7pm at the historic Dalton Freight Depot. The concert is co-sponsored by the Downtown Dalton Development Authority. Concert tickets are available for $15.00 through the freight depot gift shop located at 305 S. Depot Street in Downtown Dalton Georgia.

Greg Cahill Helps Make A Special Night at the Dalton Freight Depot

Check PresentationIt was a very special night last Saturday as determined fans braved hail and rain to hear bluegrass music group Greg Cahill and Special Consensus perform with the Americana group Belfry Fellows. The concert was the final performance in a series to benefit Providence Minisitries men's shelter in Dalton, Georgia.
