Celebrate New Year's Eve at the Ryman with Old Crow Medicine Show

Old Crow Medicine Show New Years at the RymanNashville’s own Old Crow Medicine Show will once again play the historic Ryman Auditorium, this time to ring in 2013. This is the third year that Old Crow has celebrated the New Year on the Ryman stage, in the past bringing the audience to their feet with such hits as “Wagon Wheel” and “Caroline.” After the first hsow was over, fans immediately began asking to make it an annual event, and they’re finally back! Singer and fiddle player, Ketch Secor, has said: “Playing the Ryman is like coming home. Having the chance to play that historic stage is always a humbling and inspiring experience.” Old Crow released their newest album, “Carry Me Back,” on July 17th of this year. Pokey LaFarge & The South City Three will open the show.

Dierks Bentley Announced As Host For ACM Honors at the Ryman Sept. 24

Ryman Auditorium Named Theatre of the Year by Pollstar Magazine

The award was voted on by peers and is widely regarded as the most prestigious in the concert industry. Historic Ryman Auditorium to Renovate and Replace Legendary Stage

Ryman Auditorium/Ryman.com/ Nashville, TN -- The legendary and historic Ryman Auditorium, the 120-year old iconic venue that witnessed the evolution of country music during the Grand Ole Opry, the introduction of bluegrass music with Bill Monroe, the filming of "The Johnny Cash Show," world class performances by Bob Dylan, Coldplay, Aretha Franklin, Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen, Wilco, Neil Young and so many more of modern history's greatest entertainers, will replace its stage for the first time since 1951. The new stage will feature an eighteen inch section cut from the existing stage running across the front to honor the historical significance of past performances. A now famous circle of the same Ryman stage wood resides center-stage at the Grand Ole Opry House. Originally built as the Union Gospel Tabernacle in 1892 by Captain Tom G. Ryman, this National Historic Landmark and Mother Church of Country Music is a Nashville icon.
