Marty Stuart and Blue Highway Coming to Mountain Stage in Bristol

Mountain StageBristol, TN/VA -- The Birthplace of Country Music Alliance brings Mountain Stage with Larry Groce back to Bristol's Paramount Center for the Arts Sunday, March 11st at 7pm for what is sure to be a quickly sold-out event. Multi-Grammy winner Marty Stuart & the Fabulous Superlatives will share the stage with Grammy nominated and International Bluegrass Music Association standout bluegrass group Blue Highway.

They Come from Around the World to Bluegrass in the Park

Bluegrass in the ParkHenderson, KY -- With the 26th Annual Bluegrass in the Park Folklife Festival just around the corner, the committee is busy preparing for one of the most exciting music lineups yet! This year’s festival is August 12-13 in the shaded, riverfront Audubon Mill Park. The musical lineup for 2011 boasts traditional and progressive Bluegrass acts, including festival headliners, The Grascals, who may very well be the country’s next Bluegrass super group. Other performers include Bearfoot, The Darrell Webb Band, The HillBenders, Balsam Range and many more. The festival promises fans a Bluegrass music experience like no other! Audubon Mill Park is off 2nd street along the Ohio River in Henderson, Kentucky.

Grammy Winner Marty Stuart Kicks off Bluegrass in the Park Festival

Marty StuartHenderson, KY -- The Bluegrass in the Park Folklife Festival is proud to announce this year's Thursday night headliner: Five time Grammy Award winner, Marty Stuart. From his toe-tappin' honky tonk to his grassroots gospel, Marty Stuart is truly country music's renaissance man. For over four decades, Stuart's songs have topped the charts and earned international acclaim. Stuart will perform Thursday, August 11, at 7:30 p.m. at the Henderson Fine Arts Center. The festival will continue with two days of free bluegrass music and activities in Audubon Mill Park.

Connie Smith Selected as CMHoF 2011 Artist-in-Residence

Connie SmithNashville, TN -- Legendary vocalist Connie Smith will bring her incomparable voice, her catalog of hits and some of her favorite collaborators when she takes the Ford Theater stage as the Country Music Hall of Fame (CMHoF) and Museum's 2011 Artist-in-Residence. Smith will serve as host and curator for the intimate evening performances, which are slated for August 22, August 29 and September 12 at 7:00 p.m.
