Life Goes On by the Musicians Against Childhood Cancer (MACC) is a new 2 CD set available for purchase at Amazon.com, County Sales, Ernest Tubb Records Shops, the Musicians Against Childhood Cancer website, Rural Rhythm Records, directly through the participating artists and many more locations.
Life Goes On was recorded live during the annual MACC festivals from 2006 - 2011 with the exception of the new single "Life Goes On" that was recorded at Randy Kohrs' Slack Key Studio in Nashville, TN. Many bluegrass music artists contributed to the project.

Nashville, TN -- The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum is preparing to bid farewell to the cameo exhibit Chet Atkins: Certified Guitar Player, Made Possible by the Gretsch Company, which opened in the museum's East Gallery on August 12, 2011. In recognition of the exhibit's July 15 finale, the museum is offering a packed lineup of Atkins-themed programs including a special program starring Grammy-winning guitarist Earl Klugh on Saturday, June 30; additional concerts by some of Atkins' friends, peers and protégés; a series of film screenings; and daily instrument demonstrations. The exhibit was extended during April of this year.

Vinyl record sales are strengthening but why should consumers have suffer the hassle and expense of finding the same album online, amongst the plethora of online distributors after they have already purchased the new vinyl release? In short, they shouldn’t have to, just so they can listen to the tracks on their iPod.

The grant amount represents the concert proceeds from last Saturday's performance featuring "new grass" singer John Cowan at the Dalton Freight Depot and will be distributed by The Community Foundation of N.W.
