Historic Jonesborough Bluegrass Series Presents J.D. Crowe, Brandon Rickman, Cane Creek

Crowe and The New South, Brandon Rickman, and Cane Creek. The series will feature additional performances May 19, July 21 and October 20, 2012. Jeff and Sheri Easter Record New Project

Jeff and Sheri EasterGrammy nominees Jeff & Sheri Easter return to the studio to work on a new CD. The award-winning couple is working this week at Ocean Way studio in Nashville. "We are so excited to be creating some new music," Sheri said. "We are working with some of Nashville's finest musicians." The couple is producing along with Greg Cole and for the first time their son Madison joins the production team. Madison debuted as a co-producer for his sister Morgan Easter's "Not Without Love" released last November.

TNDV Provides HD Mobile Production Services for PBS Program Bluegrass Underground

John Santa Rounding up Marathon Jam Jammers for Charity

This is the 9th year for the Marathon Jam. ACMA Presents Leon Kiser Memorial Tribute Show Saturday, Feb 25

Leon KiserBristol, TN/VA -- The 16th Annual Leon Kiser Memorial Tribute Show will honor Emily Spencer, The McPeak Brothers, Stoneman Family, Vanover Sisters, and Harry Esenwine for their contributions to Bluegrass music. Enjoy music from White Top Mountain, The McPeak Brothers, The Stonemans, Breaking Tradition, Lightnin' Charlie, ETSU Bluegrass and Old Time Bands, and many others. The Appalachian Cultural Music Association (ACMA) will present their annual memorial concert at the Paramount Theatre in Bristol, Tennessee on Saturday, February 25th. The concert is named in memory of the late Leon Kiser who was bandleader of his group the Holston Mountain Boys for over thirty years. Kiser was also a local legend who not only performed bluegrass music but also was a promoter of the music as well in the regions of East Tennessee and Southwestern Virginia. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the ETSU Bluegrass, Old Time, and Country Music Scholarship Fund. Tickets $15 Reserved.

PBS Returns to the Cave for Second Season of Bluegrass Underground
