Junior Sisk & Ramblers ChoiceJunior Sisk and Ramblers Choice announce their latest Rebel Records album titled The Heart of a Song will be available late Summer 2011. The new project will feature the guest vocals of Rhonda Vincent on the duet number "The Sound of Your Name". The album will also feature the songwriting talents of Tom T. and Ms. Dixie Hall. The new release comes on the heels of the chart topping success of their last album Heartaches and Dreams which produced a number #1 song in "Train Without a Track" and remained the top album on the Bluegrass Unlimited Charts for four months, charting for over 10 months.

"We are very proud of this new album. It is the best work we have done to date." said Junior Sisk. "We feel it has just the right amount of traditional and new music and just like "Heartaches and Dreams" will feature the great songwriting of Tom T. and Ms. Dixie Hall. We were also excited to record with Rhonda Vincent. She has an incredible voice and we blended together very well. I hope everyone will enjoy our efforts with "The Heart of a Song". We look forward to a stellar year for the band the rest of 2011 and for many years to come."

The band continues to tour in 2011 with nearly 100 dates planned or in the works through the end of the year. The 2011 tour dates will take them across most of the United States and portions of Canada and a cruise to the Caribbean in October. They have started performing songs from the new CD on their stage shows.

Junior Sisk sent us a note informing us, "my long time singing partner Tim Massey has decided to leave the band. He is getting married and is pursuing new endeavors. I will miss Timmy but would like to wish him and Patty all the happiness in the world and success in their future together."

Junior notes, "Though I am sorry to see Timmy go I am excited about the new changes in the band. We have moved Jason 'Sweet Tater' Tomlin over to the bass and hired Chris Davis on mandolin." Junior says, "I think you will be pleased with the new configuration."

The bans is also extremely excited to announce that they have signed on with Mountain Music Entertainment with Steve Johnson as our new manager/booking agent. www.mountainmusicentertainment.com.

In addition, the band is extremely excited to be candidates in round #2 of the IBMA voting for Entertainer of the Year, Song of the Year, Instrumental Group of the Year, Vocal Group of the Year, Male Vocalist, and Bass and Banjo player of the Year.

Junior Sisk & Rambler's Choice is doing all the right things and they are always a favorite among bluegrass music fans.
