Alison Krauss & Union StationAlison Krauss and Union Station seem to be everywhere right now. The band's album Paper Airplane just took home two Grammy® awards - Best Bluegrass Album for the band and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classica for the engineers on the album. This gives the bluegrass music star 27 gramophone trophies -- the highest ever for any female artist. The band is now gearing up for an important performance for the Country Music Hall of Fame, a 2012 tour and has even recorded a 500th episode piece for The Simpsons.

MOG has a playlist dedicated to Alison Krauss & Union Station called "Alison Krauss: The Grammy Winners." Listen to Alison's MOG Grammy Playlist here (does not work with all web browsers).

Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas will perform at Keith Urban's "We're All For The Hall" concert at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on April 10th. The All for the Hall fundraising campaign benefits the Country Music Hall of Fame's need to support its work preserving the enduring beauty and cultural importance of Country Music. Performers on the all-star lineup include Keith Urban, Vince Gill, The Oak Ridge Boys, Rascal Flatts and Little Big Town, with additional artists to be announced later.

And, if that wasn't enough to keep these artists busy, Alison and her band recorded a very special version of The Simpsons theme song, which was featured in the show's 500th episode. Entitled "At Long Last Leave", the episode followed the family as they were evicted from their hometown. You can listen to it below...
