Appalachian Express Chorus ConcertBristol, TN/VA -- Since 1968, the Appalachian Express Chorus has been entertaining audiences with the sounds of four part Barbershop harmony. The men who comprise the Appalachian Express come from all areas of the greater Tri-Cities, and their talents have allowed the Chorus to become one of the most respected singing organizations in the region.

Since 1968, the Appalachian Express Chorus has been entertaining audiences with the sounds of four part Barbershop harmony. The men who comprise the Appalachian Express come from all areas of the greater Tri-Cities, and their talents have allowed the Chorus to become one of the most respected singing organizations in the region.

The Appalachian Express is part of the Barbershop Harmony Society, and has been directed by Tony Bowman since 1982. The Chorus entertains through annual shows, participation in FUNFEST (a week long celebration in Kingsport), and performances for other civic groups and churches.

The group has also performed at the Lincoln Theater in Marion, Virginia and the Paramount in Bristol, Tennessee and this year they will also be performing their Christmas Show at the prestigious Niswonger Performing Arts Center in Greeneville, Tennessee.

$10.00 donation at the door as admission. Please also bring a non-perishable food item with you to support the Bristol Emergency Food Pantry.
