IBMA LogoThe International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) has a few seats still open for their Dec. 6 webinar (5 p.m. Central, 6 p.m. Eastern, 4 p.m. Mountain Time, 3 p.m. Pacific) titled "Making the Most of Your Next Interview," and they hope you'll join them! The IBMA hosts webinars to help those in the bluegrass music industry sharpen their skills and acquire insights into various avenues of the music and the industry.

Artists, have you ever gotten off the phone after an interview, or walked out of a radio or television studio and immediately thought of something you should have said (or not)? This webinar is for you!

Broadcasters, have you ever felt less than comfortable during an interview, ended up getting too many "one word" replies to your questions, or just had difficulty getting the quotes you need? This webinar is for you!

Interview with Katy DaleyJoin award-winning broadcasters Katy Daley (WAMU's Bluegrass Country) and Cindy Baucom (KneeDeep in Bluegrass) Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 5 p.m. Central Time for an informative, interactive workshop on how to get the most out of your next radio interview. Both artists and broadcasters are welcome to participate.

Along with valuable tips to help you knock the ball out of the park at your next interview, you will also have the opportunity to practice new skills with artists or broadcasters on the call. There will be a focus on emerging artists, but veteran artists and broadcasters with any level of experience are welcome.

Please click here for more info about Cindy Baucom and click here to learn more about Daley. The fee is only $20 for IBMA members or $40 for non-members. Please call (615) 256-3222 to register.

Upcoming Webinars: The IBMA is currently in the process of selecting IBMA webinar topics and recruiting presenters for 2012. Please email Karl Kersey at karlkersey@yahoo.com or Nancy Cardwell at nancyc@ibma.org if you have a suggestion.
