Sierra Hull & Day Tyminski Host IBMA Awards ShowNashville, TN -- The biggest night of the year in bluegrass just got bigger. Look who's hosting the International Bluegrass Music Association's (IBMA) awards show! Sierra Hull and Dan Tyminski! Join us in Raleigh Thursday, September 29 when the stars of bluegrass come out to honor the best in the business. Known as bluegrass music’s biggest night of the year, the International Bluegrass Music Awards acknowledges the year’s outstanding talent and achievements, honors new Hall of Fame inductees, and waves the worldwide flag for bluegrass music.

Sierra Hull and Dan Tyminski have both won numerous IBMA awards are are certainly familiar faces at the awards show. These two outstanding artists will host IBMA's 27th Annual International Bluegrass Music Awards as the grand finish to the World of Bluegrass trade show, showcases and IBMA's biggest event of the year.

The nominations were recently announced for the Awards and may be found on Cybergrass.

IBMA’s World of Bluegrass event, an annual bluegrass music homecoming, consists of four parts: the IBMA Business Conference, the 26th Annual International Bluegrass Music Awards, Wide Open Bluegrass and the Bluegrass Ramble, an innovative series of showcases.

IBMA – the International Bluegrass Music Association – is the professional trade organization for the global bluegrass music community. The organization’s six-year stay in Raleigh is the result of a partnership with The Greater Raleigh Convention & Visitors Bureau, The Raleigh Convention Center, PineCone—The Piedmont Council of Traditional Music, the City of Raleigh and a local organizing committee.
