Ben WilsonJohnson City, TN -- Moonstruck Management is proud to announce the addition of Ben Wilson as a new Artist Booking Agent with the agency. “I am very excited about the addition of Ben Wilson to Moonstruck. In the evolution and expansion of a business, it is critical to have the right personnel in place to execute the vision of a business model. Ben has a vast amount of experience being the Executive Director of the famed Uncle Dave Macon Days Festival, both in how to work with artists directly, and also contract negotiations. His genuine personality combined with true passion for the music and business is the perfect mentality. I am excited about the new developments within Moonstruck and the future that lies ahead for our team,” says Owner Josh Trivett.

Ben grew up in Murfreesboro, Tennessee where he was exposed to Old-Time and Bluegrass music from an early age. For the last 10 years, he has been heavily involved in the planning of the Uncle Dave Macon Days Music & Arts Festival held in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Two years ago, Ben was named as the Executive Director of the festival – a position his mother Gloria Christy Shacklett held for 32 years. He has brought Uncle Day Macon Days from a competition festival to a major destination event featuring the best Bluegrass & Old-Time music. In preparation for next year’s event, he will continue to keep the competition true to its roots from where it began 40 years ago. Ben’s passion for music and his business experience will be a true asset to Moonstruck Management.

Moonstruck Management represents an impressive roster of talent including: Soggy Bottom Boys, Lonesome River Band, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, Hogslop String Band, Newtown, The Church Sisters, and the newest addition of the impressive Blues Singer-Songwriter, Jesse Kramer.
