72nd May Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival Just a Week Away

Gettysburg Bluegrass FestivalGettysburg, PA -- The 72nd Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival kicks off in just 1 week! The annual festival takes place May 12 through 15at the Granite Hill Camping Resort in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Tickets may be purchased by phone during business hours at (800) 642-8368 and online 24 hours a day at www.gettysburgbluegrass.com. With a combination of legendary performers and variety of hot up-and-comers the festival lineup is truly world class!

This year the festival has an awesome lineup including Audie Blaylock & Redline, Balsam Range, Becky Buller, Dale Ann Bradley, Darin & Brooke Aldridge, Dry Branch Fire Squad, ETSU Bluegrass Pride, Feller & Hill and the Bluegrass Buckaroos, Ferguson & Ferguson, Larry Sparks & the Lonesome Ramblers, Remington Ryde, Rhonda Vincent & the Rage, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, Steep Canyon Rangers, Tellico, The Grascals, The Seldom Scene, Trinity River Band and the US Navy Bluegrass Band.

Workshops will be held that include the Fan Jam with Mike Henderson, Eldred Hill, Ira Gitlin, Mary Jo and Charlie Leet, Fan Jam with Mike Henderson, Eldred Hill, Ira Gitlin, Mary Jo and Charlie Leet and the Pluck and Strum for Kids. Artist and instrument jams will be announced during the festival.

A few advance reserve sites remain for the taking but if you miss out, don't forget that two thirds of the campsites are filled on a first come / first serve basis! Hookup sites fill up more quickly but it's never to late to secure a rough camping spot! The Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival is located at Granite Hill Camping Resort situated on 150 acres in beautiful Adams County.

Our Favorite Food Trucks, such as, Uncle Moe's Soul Food, Schuman's Concessions, and Antietam Dairy return this May and will be joined by a few new ones; Hine's Family, The Pretzel Lady, Route 30 Seafood, Horner's Corner BBQ, Poppy's Kettle Korn, Mr. Y's Shaved Ice and Peter Peppers PA Pickles! You're welcome to pack a cooler full of food and drink or leave the cookin' to us! A nice selection of imported and domestic beers, microbrews and local wines are sold onsite in the Red Shed Café along with great eats for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Festival shirts and gear are available at the Bluegrass Boutique which opens with the start of music on Thursday! And Instrument, Clothing, Jewelry, and other gift vendors will be selling unique and one of kinds items all weekend long.
