James Reams Celebrates his Birthday January 10th

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

James ReamsJames Reams of James Reams & The Barnstormers will be celebrating his birthday in a few days. We hope you'll join in the festivities by playing or listening to some of his original music in honor of this special day. "Hills of My County" is an original from his Troubled Times CD or the semi-autobiographical "Where No Heart Goes Hungry" from Wild Card (also available on AirPlay Direct) with the late Walter Hensley on banjo.

Perhaps a song that charted nationally might be more to your liking? How about "Almost Hear the Blues" from the One Foot in the Honky Tonk CD (available from AirPlay Direct)? And don't forget the pre-release single "Songbird" from his new album, Rhyme & Season, due out in a couple months - it's also available from AirPlay Direct. There's something for any audience in the James Reams archives!

2016 is going to be an exciting year for James as he plans to release his new album, Rhyme & Season in just a few short months. This is the first concept album that James has produced and it celebrates the perpetual pilgrim in all of us.

Watch the YouTube video for the pre-release "Songbird" and you'll get an idea of the energy that is packed into this album.
