Christmas in the SmokiesThe Christmas in the Smokies bluegrass music festival will be held December 9 - 12, 2105 at the Ramada Inn & Smoky Mountain Convention Center in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Hosted by Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road, the event brings together many traditional bluegrass and gospel bands for a special Christmas celebration of music with bluegrass friends and family.

Bluegrass legend, Doyle Lawson, summed up what Christmas in the Smokies means to his band. "This is a great venue to play as we wind down the year for Christmas. The crowds and the atmosphere make it most enjoyable. Kudos to the promoter, Lorraine Jordan, for what she's done for this long standing festival," said Lawson.

Bands scheduled to perform during the festival are: Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road, Goldwing Express, Joe Mullins and the Radio Ramblers, Bobby Osborne & Rocky Top Xpress, Remington Ryde, Jerry Butler, The Gentlemen of Bluegrass, James King Band, Marty Raybon and Full Circle The Bluegrass Mountaineers, Sideline, Jesse Alexander Band, Williamson Branch, Terry Baucom and the Dukes of Drive, Audie Blaylock and Redline, Jimbo Whaley & Greenbrier, Salt and Light and Paul Williams and Victory Trio.
