A stellar line-up of bands has been announced and a detailed performance schedule has been posted at www.BillMonroeMusicPark.com. One of the highlights of the event will certainly be Raymond Fairchild’s induction into the Hall of Fame on Saturday, September 26.

Raymond FairchildRaymond Fairchild is a legendary banjoist and has performed on the Grand Ole Opry since 1977. He has appeared on numerous television specials for the Nashville Network and other network stations. He recently completed a two-hour documentary special for Japan Broadcasting, focusing on the evolution of music from Ireland to the United States. Raymond has recorded over twenty albums and videos during his impressive career and scored two Gold Records for having sold over two million copies of his banjo instrumentals.
