Sam Bush Go Pro - Photo credit Brett SchreckengostLyons, CO -- Less than 100 days til' Festivaaaaal! Yes, in just 99 days the annual pilgrimage of Festivarian Nation to Telluride culminates with the opening drone of bagpipes, the running of tarps, and the glorious reverberation of banjo and fiddle. For 4 days festivarians will dance, smile, listen and marvel at the great acoustic adventure of Telluride Bluegrass.

Planet Bluegrass has shared a few of this year's artists with you on the eve of the Winter Solstice in December. And now, with snow beginning to melt, we're thrilled to announce the complete single-day lineup for the 42nd Annual Telluride Bluegrass...

As it has always been, and will always be, Telluride Bluegrass has one stage. We all share the entire musical lineup from our tarps -- one community united by 4 days of profound musical experiences from morning til late-night... (Artists are listed in reverse performance order)

Thursday we sing along with legendary songwriter Robert Earl Keen (check out his excellent new CD "Happy Prisoner: The Bluegrass Sessions").

Friday evening we're excited to present the inimitable, award-winning, songwriter, producer, CoverGirl and avant-garde funkstress Janelle Monáe (!!). Earlier in the Friday we'll be charmed by the husband-wife soul-folk duo Johnnyswim and acclaimed Australian bluegrass quartet Mustered Courage.

Saturday's lineup adds Grammy-winning North Carolina bluegrassers Steep Canyon Rangers and innovative Texas songwriter Robert Ellis (and his stellar electric band). Sunday afternoon welcomes back groovy California folk-popper Brett Dennen and the Queen of Bluegrass, 7-time IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year Rhonda Vincent.

Along with previously announced artists -- including Ry Cooder - Sharon White - Ricky Skaggs; John Butler Trio; Kacey Musgraves; and the once-a-year convocation of the virtuosic Telluride House Band -- the 2015 lineup boldly carries on the grand tradition of Summer Solstice Festivation at 8,750'. (You have read our book, Forty Years of Festivation, right...?)

Single-day tickets for Thursday and Sunday are still available (!!), as well as camping in 3 different campgrounds, including family camping at Telluride High School. Order now at or 800-624-2422. As always, we charge no handling fees on any orders.

If you're eager for more lineup back-story, check out our recent Telluride Bluegrass interview with No Depression. In the coming months watch for the announcement of the NightGrass series in April, followed by FirstGrass details in May, and the Elks Park workshop schedule in early June.
