Springfield Exit Release Two New Songs from Upcoming Album

 That Was ThenNashville, TN -- Springfield Exit is proud to announce the release of two songs, “Some Old Day” and “Till the Rivers All Run Dry” from their upcoming new album That Was Then. The songs are now available for purchase at Patuxtent Music, Adams County Banjo, iTunes, Amazon, and the Springfield Exit website, Radio programmers can download the music at AirPlayDirect.com.

Vocalist Linda Lay heads an all-star ensemble of award-winning instrumentalists with husband David Lay (guitar and vocals) along with the distinguished talents of three former Johnson Mountain Boys - Marshall Wilborn (bass & vocals), David McLaughlin (mandolin, guitar, banjo, fiddle & vocals) and Tom Adams (banjo). On the upcoming new album, the group welcomes special harmony vocal guests Tom Mindte on “Lonesome Wind” and Frank Solivan on “Don’t We All Have The Right.”

Springfield Exit will celebrate the album on February 15 at Bluegrass in the Ballroom at the George Washington Hotel’s Grand Ballroom located at 103 E. Piccadilly St. in Winchester, Virginia. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the music begins at 7:00 pm. Dinner will be served from 6:30-7:45pm.
