Carolina Road Goes Back To Their Roots with New CD

Back To My RootsRural Rhythm Records is proud to announce the new album, Back To My Roots by Carolina Road. This new project includes the talents of: Tommy Long (guitar, lead vocals); Lorraine Jordan (mandolin and vocals); Ben Greene (banjo); Josh Goforth (fiddle); and Eddie Biggerstaff (bass.) "The Lady of Tradition, Lorraine Jordan and her band Carolina Road continue to go deep into the roots of Bluegrass. With Back To My Roots they show how to bring a fresh new feel to the Traditional Bluegrass sound we all love. Carolina Road is keeping the Tradition alive and well," says Dennis Jones, WNCW Radio host.

Rural Rhythm recently released the first single, "A Light in My Window, Again" that certainly has been welcomed at bluegrass radio. "This is a is a timely song, written by songwriting legends Dixie and Tom T. Hall, and Carolina Road does it proud with a great performance. The band's new lead singer Tommy Long has a soulful, traditional style with a country touch that's a perfect fit for the song," said Chris Jones, Sirus XM Radio, Bluegrass Junction.

Back To My Roots will be available wherever bluegrass music is sold for both the physical CD and Digital album. "After 20 years of being a musician, 6 years as a side person in other bands and 12 years on the road full time as band leader of Carolina Road, I am confident that I got it right this time! Carolina Road is Back to our Roots where we belong," said Lorraine Jordan.
