The Rigneys: Double or NothingJoelton, TN -- Dark Shadow Recording artists “The Rigneys” announce the launch of “Bluegrass Band”, the third entry in a series of performance videos. Recorded and filmed live at the South Jackson Civic Center in Tullahoma, Tennessee, in front of a packed auditorium, the show featured two sets of fine bluegrass from the band followed by two standing ovations.

Producer/Label owner Stephen Mougin explained: "As the band gears up for IBMA performances, we dug through the vaults and found this un-released video that we wanted to share! Penned by The Rigneys, "Bluegrass Band" is a tongue-in-cheek touring expose featured on their current album Double or Nothing (released September 10, 2013)."

The first single, also the title track, was uploaded two weeks ago and quickly added to playlists worldwide, leaving the bluegrass radio community anxiously awaiting the full project. September 10th, 2013, is the official release date, and a CD release event was planned to coincide with last year's International Bluegrass Music Association's World of Bluegrass in Raleigh, NC -- just one year ago this month.

Brothers Andrew (guitar, vocals) and Grant (mandolin, fiddle, vocals) have been making names for themselves the past several years in the bluegrass instrumental world. Both are Tennessee State Champions on their respective instruments, and the list of their winnings include such prestigious events as the Doc Watson Guitar Competition at the infamous Merlefest and the Grand Masters Fiddle Championships, to scratch the surface. Parents Mark and Melissa round out the group admirably on banjo and bass.

"The Rigneys are a hard-working bunch and have such a positive, uplifting attitude about music, business, and life," states Stephen Mougin, owner of Dark Shadow Recording and long-time guitarist for the Sam Bush Band. "From song selection throughout the recording process, all five of us have been focused on making the best presentation possible and I'm very proud of the way the album turned out!"
