All The WayBluegrass music artists, Nu-Blu, are seeing a lot of great review from their latest project, All The Way. The band has put together a nice and lengthy video where they talk about the album and share in the track material. Nu-Blu is dynamic and capable of covering the entire bluegrass spectrum and more, as they do with "Jesus and Jones."

Nu-Blu is certainly one of the fastest rising acts in bluegrass music today. This latest album, released September 16th, is a wonderful followup to their last album, “Ten,” which coincided with the foursome’s musical journey as a band for a full decade. "With this new project we are going all the way by stepping outside of genre boundaries and letting our fusion of musical tastes and interpretations guide us like never before,” says lead singer Carolyn Routh. “Get ready, we have a few surprises in store and we've never been more excited."

Bob Cherry of Cybergrass wrote, "This album covers stories and life as bluegrass music is known for. The album touches various ups and downs throughout the ten tracks. Nu-Blu put a lot of their own soul into this release. This is Nu-Blu listening material that will be as good years from now as it is today."

The highlight of this project is the song "Jesus And Jones" featuring American Southern soul and R&B artist Sam Moore. We certainly need more of this kind of depth in bluegrass. Sam Moore's contribution to this track adds an entire new dimension to what bluegrass music can be. I hope that more artists find a way to put the blues into bluegrass. After all, that's where it all started with Bill Monroe.
