Country Music Hall of Fame & MuseumNashville, TN -- Katie Armiger, Brent Cobb, Chris Janson and Corey Smith, four rising singer-songwriters who have been selected to participate in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s emerging artist membership program, will take the Ford Theater stage on Tuesday, December 10, at 7:30 p.m. for an acoustic guitar pull. All proceeds from the concert will benefit the museum.

Texan Katie Armiger’s fourth studio album, the critically-acclaimed Fall Into Me, was released in January; Armiger wrote or co-wrote all 14 songs on the record, which GAC lauded as “a unique blend of modern and traditional.” Georgia native Brent Cobb’s songs have been recorded by Luke Bryan, Little Big Town, Kellie Pickler, the Eli Young Band and more, and he recently recorded his debut CD for Carnival Music. Missouri-born Chris Janson has enjoyed chart success this year with his songs “Better I Don’t” and current single “Cut Me Some Slack”; he’s also played more than 150 dates in 2013, including opening for Florida Georgia Line, Merle Haggard and Jake Owen, and performing 20 times on the Grand Ole Opry. An acclaimed independent artist, Corey Smith has performed more than 1,000 shows for a cumulative audience of more than one million fans; he is currently working with award-winning producer Keith Stegall on his ninth album.

Tickets to the show are on sale now at Country Music Hall of Fame and include three levels of admission:

  • $30 concert admission
  • $40 concert admission + limited-edition Hatch Show Print poster
  • $50 VIP package: Concert admission, limited-edition Hatch Show Print poster and meet & greet reception with the artists

The museum selects emerging artists throughout the year to present honorary Friends and Family memberships. Since 2011, dozens of artists have become part of the museum family through this program. Says Smith, “Whenever I visit the Country Music Hall of Fame..., I leave there feeling really inspired.”

Museum membership donations support the not-for-profit museum’s mission. The tax-deductible memberships provide many benefits, including unlimited free admission and discounts at the Museum Store, Hatch Show Print and Two Twenty-Two Grill.
