Taylor Swift CMA PerformanceTaylor Swift brought out some of the best to join her in a liver performance of "Red" at the 47th Annual CMA awards show. As Alison and Vince performed their segments, the audience came alive as the cheers raised above the music. Alison Krauss, Sam Bush, Vince Gill, Edgar Meyer, and Eric Darken performed the collaboration segment at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

What made the "Red" performance outstanding was the artists that backed her. Swift is already a country music super star but, bringing in the roots super pickers added another dimension to the performance. The fans recognized it as well. It was one of those special moments in music.

Taylor Swift was awarded the Pinnacle Award during the CMA Awards ceremonies. The Pinnacle Award goes to artists who take country music to a worldwide audience. Garth Brooks (2005) is the only previous winner.//
