Nu-Blu Celebrating "Ten" All Over the Place

 TENNashville, TN -- Rural Rhythm Records is proud to announce Nu-Blu’s CD Release party for their album TEN was held Wednesday, July TENth at the Silver Dollar Saloon located at 110 2nd Avenue in Nashville. TEN was previously released to digital distributors, with the physical CD now releasing July 16.

Nu-Blu was founded ten years ago by husband and wife team, Carolyn and Daniel Routh, who are joined by long time band members Levi Austin and Austin Koerner to comprise one of today’s most popular bluegrass groups. The album includes guest musicians the award winning musicians Ron Stewart and Jim VanCleve. The up-tempo "That Road", written by Honi Deaton, is the first single from TEN. Nu-Blu will have a busy week in Nashville with a Sam Ash In-Store Appearance on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. This free event will take place at the Sam Ash Music Store located at 1647 Gallatin Pike North in Madison, TN. The band will also be performing at this week’s Summer NAMM Show Thursday and Friday and can be visited at the Peterson Tuner’s booth all day Friday, plus numerous promotional interviews throughout the week.

Nu-Blu will continue The Ten Tour with a performance this Saturday, June 13 in Labadie Station, MO before heading to Startford, IA on Sunday. The band can be seen on CBS News, Channel KXMB in Bismarck, ND on Tuesday July 16 at noon. Just announced a few hours ago, Nu-Blu has reached the second round of balloting for the annual International Bluegrass Music Awards that will be held in Raleigh, NC this year. They have been listed in three catagories, Emerging Artist, Gospel Recorded Performance of the Year for "Martha and Mary", and Carolyn Routh for Female Vocalist of the Year!
