Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion 13th PosterBristol, TN/VA -- This year's Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion is quickly approaching -- and to add to the excitement, BRRR has made a few additions to its line-up. Jim Lauderdale, Kelly Willis & Bruce Robison, and Willie Watson, former frontman for Old Crow Medicine Show, will bring their talents to Bristol September 20-22, 2013.

The Birthplace of Country Music® is truly "writing the next verse" with a Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion line-up of some of the best songwriters and artists performing today...and at least one headlining mystery act yet to be announced.

The 13th annual Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion happens September 20-22, 2013 on State Street in Historic Downtown Bristol, TN/VA. Still the best bargain on the festival circuit, Weekend Passes are avaible online at

Jim Lauderdale
Festival favorite Jim Lauderdale is a man of many trades: songwriter, host, collaborator, performer. From writing for Nashville greats such as Patty Loveless and George Strait to working with Buddy Miller on record, on radio, and on stage, Lauderdale is one you won't want to miss. This year, he'll make his mark on Bristol's stage once more, bringing his Grammy Award-winning bluegrass-, country-, and Americana-soaked songs to fans.
Willie Watson
As founding member and thirteen-year frontman for Old Crow, New York native Willie Watson made a name and sound all his own. Now, with his guitar and banjo by his side, he's solo and hitting the road to bring fans a mix of the old and the new. Get ready to enter into Watson's world of raw, bare-bones, stripped-down tunes.
Kelly Willis & Bruce Robison
Kelly Willis and Bruce Robison might seem like they're worlds apart: Willis was meant for the rockabilly of the 60s, and Robison, for the Texas country of the 70s. But their shared love of "hard country" led them to each other, on and off the stage. Two decades later, Willis and Robison are going strong, and pounding the pavement for their latest effort, Cheater's Game.

In September 2012 Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion's drew a crowd of more than 50,000+ people over the course of the three-day music festival, making it the event's most successful show to date. Celebrating it's lucky 13th year in 2013, Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion is always the third weekend of September (Sept. 20-22, 2013).
