Donna Ulisse to Make First Appearance at Redbone Willy's

Donna UlisseSinger songwriter Donna Ulisse will be appearing with her band The Poor Mountain Boys at Redbone Willy's Bluegrass Festival in Lawndale, North Carolina on Saturday, September 3, 2011. The one day annual event is nestled in the foothills of North Carolina's South Mountains and the lineup includes Balsam Range, Grasstowne, Nu-Blu, Twilite Broadcasters and many more.

Ulisse and her Poor Mountain Boys have put in a busy summer of touring with their July trip to Russia at the invitation of the U.S. Embassy being a sure highlight and what Ulisse has termed "life changing". While there they played four festivals in two different parts of the country as part of a cultural gift from the U.S. Embassy to the people of Russia.

Her new CD release "An Easy Climb" is receiving strong airplay worldwide and has recently charted in the Bluegrass Music Profiles Top Ten album chart, the Folk DJ chart, The Top 66 International Bluegrass Chart and The Euro-Americana chart. Her song "Let It Rain" just entered the Bluegrass Unlimited chart. This is her fourth release on Hadley Music Group Records.
