Bluegrass Gospel ProjectThe Bluegrass Gospel Project (BGP) will have a busy July concert run going. BGP comments about their upcoming concerts saying, "They're all good, and the one we're most excited about is July 22 & 23 near Woodstock, VT (see our calendar page for tickets, info, and links). SummerGrass 2011 is being put on by our good friends at Pentangle Arts and promises to be two music-filled days of notable bluegrass heavies including Del McCoury, Ricky Skaggs, Sam Bush, Infamous Stringdusters, Sierra Hull, and us. We'll be playing two sets each day and doing a workshop on Saturday.

Other upcoming dates for the Bluegrass Gospel Project include Tuesday, July 5th - free concert in Castleton, VT (on the green - indoors nearby if it rains), Sunday, July 17th in Tinmouth, VT (near Rutland) - one set at 1 p.m. at SolarFest, and for you New Yorkers, Sunday July 31st in Norwood, NY - a free concert on the green. Visit our calendar page for details about all of our appearances.

BGP has been busy cooking up new songs to play for you. There's something for everyone including a great new Colby original, a sweet love song from yesteryear, and a couple of Stanley Brothers gospel toe-tappers. Also, we've signed on with a new booking agent, John Powell, of Angelica Music. Johnny's been busy organizing our old contacts, making new ones, and is currently booking our 2012 concert appearances.

The band also announced, "We recently updated our photos to include our newest old bandmember, Taylor Armerding. Also, there are several new BGP videos posted to YouTube (and linked from this site). Colby's mother-in-law did a great job putting these videos together so that the sound is actually pretty darn good."
