Nashville, TN -- Beginning with the November 2012 issue, the Nashville based bluegrass quartet, The Farm Hands, will feature a monthly newsletter within the pages of Bluegrass Unlimited magazine. It’s a unique idea for both the magazine and the band.
“Although websites and social media have changed our world, it’s impossible to understate the impact that Bluegrass Unlimited magazine makes within our industry,” says Daryl Mosley of the Farm Hands. “We are excited to be able to stay in touch on a regular basis with their many thousands of readers.”
This type of arrangement between the magazine and a band is a first for Bluegrass Unlimited. The monthly newsletter will feature the latest news and happenings of the band as well as, according to Farm Hands dobro player Tim Graves, some surprises. “We have a few ideas up our sleeve to make the newsletter more fun. We will unveil some of those next year.”
The Farm Hands Bluegrass Quartet features bluegrass music veterans Daryl Mosley, Tim Graves, Kevin Williamson and Bennie Boling. The band regularly tours over 150 dates each year. Bluegrass Unlimited magazine was first published in 1966 and is widely considered the premier magazine for bluegrass music. p
