With the support of the community $350,000 was raised to begin construction of the park. Whitfield County commissioners pledged matching support so that the park could be completed for the upcoming September 15, 2012 opening day.

Bluegrass Bands Helping Hands will continue their support of the Miracle Field by sponsoring a team during the inaugural season. Players will participate free of expense and receive a team shirt and hat through the support of the team sponsorship.

The community is invited to attend the opening ceremonies beginning at 11:00 am Saturday September 15th, 2012. The Miracle Field is located at 1519 Mount Vernon Road, Rock Face, Georgia.
